Full Moon Ritual - Samhain
October 27, 1996

Set-up

Have the altar set up as usual. In addition:


HP will lead CAVE away from ritual area

HPS will cleanse and charge the ritual space in the usual ways.

As folks come into the ritual area, cleanse hands in water (with sea salt& rose water). HPS or Maiden will pour water over the hands of folksas them come in.

Cast the Circle.
Give intent

MEDITATION

Music

Walk along a lake. Remember those passed. What do you see; along the path,in the water; perhaps in the trees. Mild meditation, not to deep. Stressfeels good. Learn what you need.

THE WORK

To Music

Make web with balls of yarn.

(note: This was done by passing a heavy piece of yarn around thecircle. This particular ritual had 31 or so folks, so it was big. Afterthe circumference of the web is tied together, the ends of balls of yarnare tied to the big circle. Try to have enough balls of yarn to at leastgive one to every other person. Next, toss the balls across the circle,to anyone you want, to make a big web. Fun! Do make sure that candlesare out of the line of fire!)

Fun time. Music may lead to chant.

Chant and drum while circling the altar, raising energy. When everyoneis done with candles, go round the circle, raising hands slowly with theenergy, visualizing it flowing upwards in a cone. Send the energy off.
